Laurel Bank Park is one of Toowoomba's premier parks and provides a majestic oasis close to the heart of town. The park features manicured gardens, mature trees, children's play equipment, barbecue and picnic areas and two croquet lawns and is a must-see destination during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers in spring, when the gardens come alive with colour and natural splendour.

I have not heard of any charge to look at Laurel Bank Park, day time or night time. During carnival of flowers week there is an information booth on site so they would be able to answer your question. Alternatively the council would know. The carnival is Sep 17 to 25 and well worth going to. The week prior to carnival is also a great time to visit the wonderful parks in the area.

I don't remember see BBQ's when I was there but there could be some. I would say tha g it would be a lovely place for a baby shower.

Totally free entry to all Toowoomba parks and that includes Laurel Bank. There is several donation tins if you feel you would like to give something for the hard work that they do.
