Just to add to those other answers, the main road through the park, Booboyan Road, leads down to Adaminaby. It is generally open, but may be closed due to flooding or snow/ice. Most of it is dirt and none of it is lit. Plenty of people drive it in 2WD cars, but one would prefer at least an AWD. There are a number of secondary roads, including sealed roads to the old space tracking stations at Honeysuckle Creek and Orroral Creek, the second passing the nearby campgrounds. Obviously with campgrounds there, these roads are always open.
