It wasn't a castle. From what I could make out it was a Georgian house with a castle wall and a dried up moat around the back. The house was closed. Not sure what it was all about but it seemed to be…Full review by Grisleymyers

I really would not go out of your way to visit the castle remains. There’s a nice view but no information about the castle at all. There a section of wall and ditch left in one corner.Full review by railway_chap
