It is a short stay private hospital, where both the prehab and rehab care are delivered outside the hospital, providing continuity for patients when they are discharged. The hospital is majority owned by doctors, providing high quality, affordable healthcare. It will be the first hospital in Australia that aims not to charge insured patients any out-of-pocket expenses, across all specialties. Adeney Private Hospital will open in 2024.
