Communities across Arkansas are waking up to severe storm damage as the state continues to prepare for more potential severe weather later this week.

Injuries and damage were reported from tornadoes and storms that swept through Arkansas Wednesday. In the video above, a large tornado is seen touching down in Bay, Arkansas. The National Weather Service described the tornado that hit Lake City, Arkansas, as "catastrophic."

According to the National Weather Service, Arkansas was hit by two separate EF3 tornadoes in Bay and Lake City during a severe weather event on Wednesday.
