Bukayo Saka made a sensational return for Arsenal on Tuesday, scoring in a 2-1 win over Fulham after a three-month spell on the sidelines.

Mikel Arteta says Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is “ready to go” for his return from a long-term hamstring injury. The 23-year-old’s last appearance was the 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on December 21, where he sustained the issue with his right hamstring.

Saka could start tonight, play 60 minutes, and then come off the bench on Saturday. Or have a second-half run out against Fulham before starting against Everton three days before the quarter-final first leg. He could also sit out tonight’s game entirely, though that seems the least plausible option given Arteta’s pre-match comments.

After the Real Madrid victory, while praising Gabriel’s replacement Jakub Kiwior, Arteta confirmed the timescale of Gabriel’s absence.
