Yankees acquire Amed Rosario from Nationals, adding versatility & help against lefties
The Yankees traded for another infielder on Saturday night, acquiring Amed Rosario from the Nationals. The trade sent minor league pitcher Clayton Beeter, a member of the 40-man roster, and Browm Martinez, an outfielder in the Dominican Summer League, to Washington, D.C.

The Nationals made their first move less than a week before the Trade Deadline by acquiring right-hander Clayton Beeter and outfielder Browm Martinez from the Yankees in exchange for veteran utility infielder Amed Rosario on Saturday night.
Beeter, acquired from the Dodgers for Joey Gallo in 2022, is considered the Yankees’ 13 th -best prospect by MLB.com. He’s battled other injuries in the past, including Tommy John surgery.
