Ahead of the Coldplay concert in Navi Mumbai, the Mumbai Police banned heavy vehicles in city and issued a traffic advisory for the motorists, an official said on Friday. In a traffic notification, the police said,

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres concert in Mumbai at Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium will take place on January 18, 19, and 21. To manage the expected crowds, Navi Mumbai Police have announced traffic restrictions for heavy vehicles from 2 PM to 12 AM.

Coldplay's concert will be held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. To make it easier for people to travel, the organisers have arranged for Full Tariff Rate (FTR) suburban local trains to transport attendees to and from the venue.

“Around 45,000 fans are expected to attend the event, for which elaborate security arrangements have been made,” said a release by the Navi Mumbai police

Around 1,000 police officers will be deployed to ensure security and a smooth experience at Coldplay's upcoming concert in Navi Mumbai.

Two Coldplay concerts are taking place at Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Jan 25, 26. Three concerts of the band will be held in Navi Mumbai on Jan 18, 19 and 21.
