There's a new team in the top four of the College Football Playoff Rankings. After a big win against Texas in Week 12, Georgia joined the list of projected first-round byes at No. 4 in Tuesday night's CFP bracket.
Alabama (8-2, 6-1 SEC) won eight games in a row prior to facing Oklahoma and was the No. 4 team in the College Football Playoff rankings going into that matchup. Following the defeat, the Crimson Tide dropped by six places to No. 10, behind two other 8-2 teams: the Sooners and Notre Dame.
The latest College Football Playoff rankings were not good news for James Madison, which likely does not have path to field without major help.
