As the Gifford wildfire rages on, Southern California faces its largest blaze of 2025. With extreme heat and dry conditions, the inferno shows no signs of slowing.

The Gifford fire has become the largest wildfire in California so far this year, with the 'megafire' having burned over 104,000 acres to date, as of Saturday morning.
