Spotify has canceled its Grammy week events in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires, including its annual Best New Artist party and its 2025 Songwriter of the Year party. In a newsroom post on Spotify’s website,

Many Grammy Awards week events are being canceled while the Feb. 2 Grammy telecast is now being reframed to raise funds for wildfire relief efforts and to honoring first responders,

The Grammys will take place as originally scheduled on Feb. 2, but the Grammy Week activities leading up to the main event have been amended in light of the wildfires that have ravaged the Los Angeles region.

Spotify has announced the cancellation of all of its Grammy parties and events in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires. But nominees for the Songwriter of the Year Award were already boycotting the Grammy party before fires broke out.
