A man stood charged Tuesday in a mass shooting that left two people dead at a bar in Hammond, Indiana this past weekend. Caprice Edward Cashaw, 31, of Merrillville, was charged late Monday with multiple felonies — including murder and attempted murder — in the shooting early Sunday morning,

Police said officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 4 a.m. at Portside Pub in Hammond where they found two people killed and three others wounded

There, responding officers found five gunshot victims. Two died at the scene. On Monday, the Lake County Coroner's Office in Indiana identified those victims as 59-year-old Lorraine Reyna and 25-year-old Paul Olivares. Both lived in Whiting.
