Josh Allen took a pounding, doled out punishment and delivered Buffalo its first road playoff victory in more than three decades, 27-24 over Jacksonville in the AFC’s wild-card opener Sunday.
Former Weber State cornerback Taron Johnson had two solo tackles for Buffalo, while former Utah punter Mitch Wishnowsky averaged 43.3 yards on three punts for the Bills. Former Highland High tight end Jackson Hawes played his first postseason game for Buffalo, though he didn’t record any statistics.
The Bills have had bad playoff luck before, but they're still alive, and Allen gives them a shot at a long run.
