Lonnie Walker IV revealed on Friday that the last couple of days have been very humbling. While he has loftier goals, the Reading native considers his return to the NBA a big step in the right direction.

Veteran guard Lonnie Walker IV is returning to the NBA and will sign a two-year, $3.7 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Shams Charania. Walker, who had been playing overseas for BC Zalgiris in Lithuania, had an NBA out in his deal which had to be activated by Feb. 18.

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced Friday that the team has signed Lonnie Walker IV, the former Reading High star. It was reported earlier this week that the Sixers were going to sign Walker.
