The ‘literally’ part came just under 13 minutes to go when Amari Williams was hit hard in the back by Georgia State’s Clash Peters, leading to a scuffle between the two teams. It led to Kentucky head coach Mark Pope running onto the Rupp Arena court to play peacemaker following the fight by grabbing a Panthers player to break things up before they escalated out of control.
