Michigan Wolverines saw CB Jayden Sanders commit to Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but S Jordan Young withdrew from the portal and will return.

Jayden Sanders, who started two games for the Wolverines as a true freshman in 2025, committed to Notre Dame on Monday.

Michigan football continues to add offensive weapons, and the latest one is coming off a breakout freshman season.

Jordan Young had 15 tackles and three pass breakups during the 2025 season for Michigan, including a key breakup on the road against Northwestern.

Michigan is retaining one of its top defensive backs. Junior Jyaire Hill, the team’s No. 1 cornerback in 2025, signaled his return for 2026 in a social media post with the Michigan’s “LFG147” campaign.

Michigan State running back Brandon Tullis indicated he will return for the 2026 season via a social media post. Tullis appeared in all 12 games last season, rushing for 301 yards and four touchdowns. He will be a junior with two years of eligibility remaining.
