Here's what you need to know about the College Football Playoff rankings for conference championship games games, announced on Dec. 3.

Six bowl games will be featured as part of the 12-team playoff, while the others will feature traditional pairings.

College football rivalry week was turned up a notch this year thanks to an outbreak of attempted flag plantings. It's not exactly a new trend, as former Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield can attest to.
