The Brooklyn Nets are a team that is expected to sell heavily entering NBA trade season. Reports have suggested that the team is willing to trade anyone on the roster, and that includes center Nic Claxton.

Asked after Friday’s loss to the Magic about Claxton, who hasn’t attempted more than nine field goals in any of his 14 appearances this season, the first-year Nets coach said he wants to see improvement in another area of the $97-million center’s game.

Nic Claxton has not made the impact the Brooklyn Nets expected this season after signing a four-year, $97 million contract. The sixth-year center has seen an inconsistent role due to a nagging back injury.
