Mullins is joining the team on a two-year, $6.5 million contract with $3 million in guaranteed money. He spent time with new Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski in Minnesota and now joins Jacksonville to be Trevor Lawrence's backup.

Mullens last played for the Minnesota Vikings, joining them in 2022. He now heads to the much warmer climate alongside Grant Udinski, who was the assistant offensive coordinator and assistant quarterbacks coach for the Vikings in 2024 and is now the Jaguars offensive coordinator.

The Minnesota Vikings have lost a couple of players on the offensive side of the ball to the Jacksonville Jaguars as the “legal tampering” period of free agency gets into full swing. Numerous sources are reporting that the Jaguars have agreed to terms with both quarterback Nick Mullens and tight end Johnny Mundt.
