The Japanese Grand Prix saw Max Verstappen spoil what looked to be a McLaren victory party as the Red Bull driver nipped pole position from Lando Norris and kept Norris and Oscar Piastri at bay throughout the race for his first win of the 2025 season.

With two wins in four rounds, Oscar Piastri is now in a position to take the championship lead at the end of this week - and if he keeps performing like he did in Bahrain, he'll be hard to stop from winning the title at the end of the year.
