Pitcher Chris Paddack, acquired Monday from the Minnesota Twins, threw six impressive innings and the Tigers offense again exploded in a 7-2 victory for a three-game series sweep over Arizona. Paddack allowed one run on three hits, walked none and struck out five while helping extend the Tigers' win streak to four games.

Chris Paddack pitched six solid innings in his Detroit debut and the host Tigers extended their winning streak to four games with a 7-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon.

DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers optioned infielder Ryan Kreidler to Triple-A Toledo after he spent just one day on the active roster. Kreider did not play in Monday’s game and was essentially serving as a roster placeholder until newly acquired right-handed pitcher Chris Paddack could arrive in Detroit and join the team.
