The US Army held a parade in Washington, DC, for its 250th anniversary on Saturday. It was also President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

In the middle of Donald Trump’s birthday military parade on Saturday evening, an activist posted a video on the Meta platform, Threads, announcing that they had received more than a million views on a TikTok video advertising how to reserve tickets to the Trump parade event.

The event brought tanks, helicopters, and vintage aircraft down Constitution Avenue in a tightly controlled display of American military history and power.

With each U.S. military era given their own special focus in the America 250 parade, Vietnam veterans received a tribute many were never offered during their own homecoming.

Dozens of M1 Abrams tanks, M2 Bradley vehicles and Sherman tanks are slowly making their way down the parade route. Many of the military vehicles, including the tanks, traveled from Texas by train and arrived in Washington,
