Paul Scholes' swipe at Ruben Amorim over his treatment of Kobbie Mainoo marks his latest tirade at a Manchester United boss. The United icon took umbrage with the manager's comments about Mainoo, who remained on the bench during United's draw with West Ham on Thursday.
In a strongly-worded social media post, Scholes accused Amorim of 'ruining' the midfielder's career. He stated: "Bulls***. The kid is being ruined, not being played in a team that can't control a game of football! Hate seeing home grown players leave but it's probably best for him now, enough is enough."

Manchester United: Ruben Amorim issues Kobbie Mainoo update after X-rated Paul Scholes rant
Amorim’s use of academy talent - or lack thereof - has come in for plenty of criticism. Man United legend Paul Scholes dubbed his man management as “bulls***” on social media, writing: “The kid is being ruined, not being played in a team that can't control a game of football. Hate seeing home grown players leave but it's probably best for him now.”
Diogo Dalot had given Amorim’s side the advantage just shy of the hour mark, but a West Ham equaliser seven minutes before the end meant it finished 1–1. It was the second home game in a row in which United struggled to create and score, having lost 1–0 to Everton at Old Trafford earlier this month.
