With Google confirming a June timeline for its Android 16 release, there’s barely a quarter for Samsung to update its entire line-up (bar the Galaxy S25) with the current Android 15 OS. It has become something of a nightmare that flagships are still running Android 14 almost 6-months after Pixels upgraded.

Samsung has expanded its One UI 7 beta program to the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series today with the release of their first beta build. This rollout follows closely on the heels of last week’s Android 15 beta launch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6.

The One UI 7 simulation also features some smaller software pieces like Samsung's complete icon rework. Galaxy's upcoming app drawer redesign is also included in the Try Galaxy demo, per the publication. Users can head to the official website, scan the QR code, and begin downloading the simulation on Android and iOS.

In testing, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus proved the best in terms of color gamut coverage, especially in its default Vivid color mode. It lags behind the competition in terms of brightness, though, especially compared to the Tandem OLED-powered screen of the iPad Pro.
