LOS ANGELES, United States (AFP) — Steven Knight, the creator of gritty TV crime series Peaky Blinders , will write the highly anticipated next James Bond movie, studio Amazon MGM announced Thursday.

There has finally been a bit of an update on the new James Bond film. And while it’s still not the reveal of who will actually be playing 007 himself, it’s the reveal of who will be writing it. The creator of Peaky Blinders has been given the honour – the one and only Steven Knight.
