In the span of less than three weeks, Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. has risen from a projected second-round pick with promise to a sure first-round pick who may be a candidate to leap into the lottery discussion.

According to a recent projection by CBS Sports, shared via a tweet by Nick Marcinko (@marcinko_nick), Clayton is now slated as the 12th overall pick in the first round, a significant leap for the 6’3”, 195-pound star. This projection places him with the Chicago Bulls, who are coached by a Gator legend in Billy Donovan.
