The New York Jets ruled out multiple starters ahead of their Week 15 clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.

Cook will become the 10th different quarterback to start a game for the Jets since the 2022 season began, joining a list that includes Taylor, Fields, Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson, Mike White, Joe Flacco, Chris Streveler, Trevor Siemian and Tim Boyle. He spent his collegiate career at Missouri.

The New York Jets were overwhelmed on Sunday during a 48-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags scored on eight of their first nine possessions, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence produced one of his most efficient games of the season (330 yards and five touchdowns passing and 51 yards and a score on the ground).

The Jets (3-10) lost 34-10 to the Dolphins (6-7) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Aside from New York's special teams unit, which scored a touchdown again, the Jets were outplayed across the board. The loss ended up being the final nail for the team's postseason status as well.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris addressed the media after the team's Week 13 loss and was especially irked with Atlanta's poor play on special teams. The Falcons muffed a punt that led to a Jets touchdown in the first half, and later gave up a big return that kept them in the game late.
