The contest was relocated from the Rams' home venue at SoFi Stadium to State Farm Stadium in Arizona due to the L.A. wildfires.

The Los Angeles Rams made themselves at home on Monday night for their NFL wild-card playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings — even if their adopted stadium featured an unusual amount of red and was about 700 miles east of their regular venue.

Perhaps the spirit of Los Angeles fueled the Rams as they cruised to a 27-9 victory. Matthew Stafford passed for 209 yards and two touchdowns and the Rams defense sacked Vikings QB Sam Darnold nine times, tying an NFL playoff record. They also forced two turnovers.
