Debris and damage were found after a tornado touched down Thursday morning in Purcell. Around 7:30 a.m., radar confirmed tornado debris near North Fourth Street east of Highway 77. KOCO 5 Field Meteorologist Michael was in Purcell shortly afterward, showing some fences knocked down and limbs on the ground.

San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties are the focus of an updated tornado warning issued at 4:05 p.m. on Monday by the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 4:15 p.m.
