The stories of the first Black scholars to study at Oxford University are being celebrated on a bus tour of the city.
IF anyone had told 10-year-old me that I would one day set foot at Oxford University, I would have given them an incredulous side-eye in response.
The two-hour tour — titled "Civil Rights in Oxford Town: The Integration of Education" — is part of a slate of events at the university to celebrate the 60th anniversary of integration.
