A strong system from the Pacific will bring rain, snow and strong winds to western Montana starting late tonight and continuing through Wednesday.

A levee has breached on the rising Green River, just east of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in western Washington, as another atmospheric river dumps rain over the Pacific Northwest.

However, CBS News New York's Craig Allen is tracking a system for later in the week that is expected to bring temperatures in the low 50s and a substantial amount of rain.

High temperatures are still below normal in the mid 20s this afternoon, but it is an improvement from this morning's temperatures below zero.
