X-Men star Alan Cumming has revealed that he's already Nightcrawler makeup tests ahead of his role in Avengers: Doomsday, and teased that the upcoming Marvel movie will be "nuts." "I had some makeup tests already," the actor said during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Friends.

"It’s a game changer,” the two-time Emmy winner said of the SFX advancements since his last time playing the X-Men mutant in 2003.

Alan Cumming revealed that his makeup process for his X-Men character went from 4 hours for X2 to a mere 90 minutes for Avengers: Doomsday.
