Fortnite’s current ‘Remix’ Season has been incredibly popular, but it’s about to end. Not only is the season drawing to a close Saturday, the new Season will be the first of Chapter 6. Fortnite players will get an entirely new map, new movement mechanics, a brand new Battle Pass and much more this weekend.
What are the new map and weapon loot pool changes in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1?
In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, all traditional weapons revert to hitscan functionality, doing away with the bullet drop that has been present since the start of Chapter 5. In other words, you no longer need to factor how far away your enemies are when shooting at them — your bullets will fly straight without losing any velocity or height.
Players have learned the hard way that Fortnite Chapter 6’s ‘No Emote’ sign will now punish them for breaking the rules.
