Pakistani police were filmed fleeing their posts and abandoning their weapons as they were overwhelmed by thousands of protesters demanding the release of Imran Khan, the former prime minister.

Pakistani protesters demanding the release of former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday killed four members of the nation's security forces, the government said, as the crowds defied police and closed in on the capital's center.

Topping the demands of the PTI is the release of jailed founder Imran and resignation of the current govt, besides other things.
