As Alabama’s oldest city, founded in 1702, Mobile has plenty of haunts. A few reportedly haunted spots include the Battle House Hotel and the Kate Shepherd Bed and Breakfast.

The Southwest Alabama Regional Tourism and Film Office is working to establish a ghost trail stretching through the 18 counties that make a swath through the middle of the state starting this summer.
