Taylor Swift and Cynthia Erivo shared a seat at the Grammys together, as footage from the Crypto.com Arena showed that Swift scooted over to make room for the 'Wicked' star at her table, while Erivo was apparently searching for her own chair.

A bit of behind-the-scenes footage from the beginning of the event showed Erivo still helplessly searching for her seat when Noah’s speech was about to begin. Noticing her struggle, Swift appeared to wave Erivo over to her table so she’d have somewhere to sit for the start of the show.

In January, Erivo was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Wicked, bringing her very close to EGOT status. It was her third Oscar nomination, having received two for 2019’s Harriet, one in the Best Actress category and one for Best Original Song for the film’s track “Stand Up.”

It was then that green queen Cynthia Erivo took time out of her busy schedule to contribute a dazzling big band performance. Erivo's performance in Wicked as Elphaba has garnered her nominations from BAFTAs to the Academy Awards.
