On the surface, the Bengals have a 1 in 9 chance of being the Dolphins' opponent in Madrid, Spain next season, but a closer look makes them the favorite.

Cincinnati is scheduled to visit the Dolphins on the 2025 schedule and would seem to have a pretty good chance of being selected. They have the sixth-longest drought in the NFL without an international game (2019) and the annual overseas games tend to favor conference showdowns.

The Cincinnati Bengals are hiring Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden as their defensive coordinator, according to multiple reports. Golden will replace Lou Anarumo, whom the Bengals fired at the conclusion of their season.

As explained by Chris Wetterich of the Cincinnati Business Courier ... Anarumo as the Dolphins’ defensive backs coach upon being hired as Miami’s head coach in 2012. The Bengals took care of a little roster housekeeping on Tuesday.

The Dolphins are scheduled to play a home game in the upcoming season against Cincinnati, though one of their home games will be played in Spain.

Cincinnati is finalizing a deal to hire Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden to run its defense.
