Fashion designer Ralph Lauren, whose name has become synonymous with preppy-chic, was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Saturday.

Presented by President Biden, Lauren will be recognized for his significant contributions to fashion, business and philanthropy.

The star-studded list of 19 recipients includes several philanthropists, Democratic politicians and high-profile donors.
