North Carolina lawmakers are hoping to curb impaired driving in the tar heel state as a local representative is reintroducing a bill this year that lowers the BAC limit for DUI arrests. The Sober Operator Act of 2025 would also change how sobriety tests are done and change how DUIs are prosecuted.
