A Topeka woman died on Tuesday after taking a seven-hour flight from France to Boston's Logan International Airport.

A woman from Topeka, Kansas, died on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston on Tuesday (January 14). The Massachusetts State Police identified the woman as 53-year-old Barbara Dipolia and said that she was a member of the Kansas Air National Guard.

Massachusetts State Police said the woman’s death appeared to result “from a medical episode during the flight”

A person’s death on board an Air France plane to Boston from Paris was under investigation on Tuesday evening, Massachusetts State Police said. There were few details available about the person’s death;

Barbara Dipoli, 53, was a passenger on a flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Boston Logan International Airport when she suffered a medical episode.
