The Netflix debut of the WWE’s flagship show “Monday Night Raw” had the feel of a big-budget movie premiere.

With the move of Monday Night Raw to Netflix, WWE executives believed it would be able to expand its viewership globally. One show in and the results indicate a big day for the show's debut on the streaming service.

The first episode of World Wrestling Entertainment’s “Monday Night RAW” on Netflix had 4.9 million views globally and averaged 2.6 million households in the U.S.

Netflix touts the viewership of WWE RAW. The January 13th episode of WWE RAW was the first edition of the show following the Netflix premiere. Per Netflix’s website, Monday’s episode of RAW is ranked fourth in global shows.

WWE made history by debuting Monday Night Raw on Netflix in January 2025, attracting 2.4 million viewers globally, exceeding cable ratings. Fans praised the enhanced production quality and reduced ad breaks.
