Investigators have now recovered the cockpit voice recorder from last week’s devastating Air India crash and will analyse the pilots’ final words to help determine what caused the disaster that killed more than 270 people.
A high-level multi-disciplinary committee formed by the Centre to investigate the Ahmedabad Air India plane crash will submit its report within three months, Union minister Murlidhar Mohol said on Tuesday.
Mohol said the panel, chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, will examine all possible factors behind the disaster, including mechanical failure, human error, and compliance with safety regulations.
