YANCEY COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Yancey County Commissioners unanimously approved the plan to withdraw from AMY, the regional library system with Avery and Mitchell counties, on Monday, April 14.

Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting confirmed Avery Quiner, 20, is employed by the Sheriff’s Office as a correctional officer.
