The Bryant Park Grill, which opened nearly 30 years ago, will be replaced by a restaurant run by a high-profile chef.

Michael Weinstein claimed he won’t go down without a fight despite the Bryant Park Corp. awarding a new, 18-year lease to Vongerichten on Monday.

After 30 years of business, the Bryant Park Grill is set to close and be replaced by a new Jean-Georges Vongerichten venture.

Bryant Park officials decided the place had become tired and it was time for a new operator to step in after the grill’s lease expires in May. Bryant Park Corp.’s executive director, Dan Biederman, notified members of Manhattan Community Board 5’s parks and public-spaces committee on Monday evening about the looming change.
