The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reportedly want a written guarantee from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), ensuring a hybrid model for the next four ICC events in India.

The deadlock between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy persists, leading the ICC to reconvene a board meeting on December 5.

The formula will be applicable for the next three years from the Champions Trophy 2025, they said, adding that it was expected to put the issue of CT’s scheduling and venue to rest. As per the Geo News source, the ICC has reportedly advised the BCCI to accept the formula, which would protect the board from legal proceedings from Pakistan.
