Mikaela Shiffrin, the most successful alpine skier of all time, said she is feeling better after crashing out of the women’s giant slalom during last weekend’s Stifel Killington Cup in Vermont.

Mikaela Shiffrin on Wednesday said she was happy to be home and resting after suffering a puncture wound in her abdomen and severe muscle trauma.

Mikaela Shiffrin led after the first run of a giant slalom in Killington, Vermont, but crashed during the second run.
