Sellers are hawking Army anniversary and "No Kings" T-shirts, hats and other items in a move to cash in on Saturday's military parade and anti-Trump protests.

Thousands of people are gathering at sites across Pierce County on Saturday for No Kings events.

Between activism, election results and protest turnout, the prevailing political winds suggest the backlash to the president is real.

The parade is expected to include about 6,600 soldiers, 50 helicopters and 60-ton M1 Abrams battle tanks, as well as possibly 200,000 attendees and heightened security to match.

A flagship "No Kings" march and rally are planned in Philadelphia, but no events are scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C., where the military parade will take place on Trump's 79th birthday. Organizers of the protests say they want to take attention away from the parade.

"We built this country strictly on the no 'No Kings' rule."
