A man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend was arrested on Monday, according to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

A Loganville man has been arrested a week after the body of a woman was found in a Newton County lake. The Newton County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested 53-year-old Travis Abbott on Monday, charging him with murder and concealing a death.
