Governor Bill Lee's school voucher bill passed the Education Committee (17 for, 7 against) after its second consideration in the House on Tuesday.
Gov. Lee’s voucher bill quickly went through two committees, the Education Committee and the Government Operations Committee. It is now headed to the House Finance Committee.
The board questioned why school vouchers were included in the special session and not through the normal legislative process.
