The rift between two senior actors of the Tamil film industry Dhanush and Nayanthara is not coming to an end. However, amidst their legal battle, Nayan's husband and director Vignesh Shivan has deactivated his X account.

Nayanthara faced legal trouble after Dhanush sent her a legal notice for not obtaining approval to use a BTS clip from his film in her documentary.

Nayanthara recently wrote an open letter addressing actor Dhanush, accusing him of attempting to delay the release of her documentary ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale’. The dispute revolves around the use of footage from the 2015 film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ in the documentary,

The same is part of personal library, therefore this is not infringement.” Dhawan also confirmed that they have formally responded to Dhanush’s legal notice, with the case set for its next hearing in the Madras High Court on December 2.

Amid the growing legal tension between Dhanush and Nayanthara, an old photo of the two from their early days has gone viral.

The lawyer said that the footage used in the documentary was a part of the actor’s “personal library,” and did not belong to Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films Private Limited.
